I didn’t grow up around wealth or business.
I was raised by hard-working parents in the Midwest who believed anything was possible if you were willing to work for it.
After chiropractic school, Kyle and I moved to New Jersey with nothing but faith and a few thousand dollars of credit.
We lived in the basement of a woman who was a little unhinged, and every day reminded us we were building something different.
Kyle worked for 1-800-GOT-JUNK while studying to pass his boards.
I was working for another clinic when I decided to take a leap of faith and open my own. It was a 500-square-foot office built entirely on credit cards because no bank would take the risk.
Within three months, it was profitable — proof that faith and grit could go a long way.
Then it was Kyle’s turn. He left a comfortable partner role to start his own business, another leap that required courage and conviction.
We kept growing together — taking turns betting on the next vision, expanding with intention, and building from a place of trust and alignment. That path has now grown into five thriving clinics and a successful online brand.
On the outside, it looked like success. But behind the scenes, I was exhausted. Every decision ran through me. Every fire needed me to put it out.
